The Second Life of Your Lauryan Candle Jar
Some things end. The candle, eventually, will.
But the jar? The jar is just getting started.
We designed the Lauryan candle with the second life in mind — a clean-burning soy wax fill, a wide-mouth glass jar with real weight to it, and a glass lid that's too good to toss. When the last of the scent burns down, what you're left with is a vessel worth keeping.
The Q-tip jar you didn't know you needed
Here's what we didn't expect when we designed it: the jar makes the most satisfying Q-tip jar you've ever owned.
Wide enough to reach in without a struggle. Heavy enough to stay put on the bathroom counter without sliding around every time you grab one. And that glass lid? It keeps your Q-tips dry — no more soggy tips from shower steam sneaking in overnight.
It just works. And it looks good doing it.
How to clean your jar after the candle burns down
Once your candle is finished, here's the easiest way to prep the jar for its second life:
- Place the jar in the freezer for 1-2 hours — the remaining wax will shrink and pop right out
- Wipe the inside with a paper towel to remove any residue
- Wash with warm soapy water
- Dry completely before adding your Q-tips (or whatever you choose)
The whole process takes about five minutes. The result lasts years.
The Self-Care Set
The candle is part of our Self-Care Set — our cork yoga mat, cork journal, and hand-poured soy candle, bundled together and currently available with a $35 savings.
It's the kind of gift that earns a permanent spot. On the mat in the morning. On the nightstand at night. And eventually, on the bathroom counter — holding your Q-tips, looking like it was always meant to be there.
