The name Lauryan is after my two children, Lauren and Ryan. I chose this name because they are my footprint testimony. We have to invest in our kids with eco-friendly products. I had tried a yoga class after my father passed away and instantly fell in love with the notion of yoga. It wasn’t until a couple years later, I really became serious about my practice. I am a super sweaty person and I would literally slide off the synthetic mats. I did the research and decided to try out a cork mat, since they are porous. I decided to start a small e-commerce yoga mat store. During the week, I teach chair yoga to seniors at assisted living centers and cancer survivors and the weekends are filled with pop-up events and festivals promoting our eco-friendly products!!
